History

The IPK team was a leader in the interactive revolution from day one. We opened our doors in 1995 as Venu Interactive, one of LA's first web design firms, with EarthLink Network as a major client.

Early Days

Impressed with our work, EarthLink founder Sky Dayton and Disney Internet Chairman Jake Winebaum acquired Venu Interactive in 1999. We became the in-house design and development team for their ground-breaking new ebusiness incubator, eCompanies.

Evolution

Over the next two and a half years, eCompanies launched over 40 online businesses, including Business.com, LowerMyBills.com, IceBox and USBX, to name a few. In 2001 the Internet landscape changed dramatically. Our group landed firmly on its feet, forming IPK, an interactive consulting group specializing in user experience and information design.
